Hello guys, today I heard about the subject, Fundamentals of Nano-technology. The university has been launched a new course for 3rd-semester students. and also in this situation so, many students will suffer from collecting information about the subject. that's why I was started to collect the information whatever you want. the degree students always trying to help you. you just don't need to worry. just follow our instructions to get the information in the form of a PDF file.
Syllabus of FUNDAMENTALS OF NANOTECHNOLOGY
Unit - I :
Background to Nanotechnology
Unit - II :
Nanomaterials and Properties
Applications of Nanomaterials
A note on Nanotechnology
The term "nano-technology" was first used by Norio Taniguchi in 1974. Also in 1986, Drexler co- founded The Foresight Institute to help increase public and understanding of nanotechnology awarenesS concepts and impliçations.
The discovery of carbon nanotubes is largely attributed to Sumio lijima of NEC in 1991.
Multi- gate MOSFETS enabled scaling below 20 nm gate length, starting with the FinFET non-planar, double-gate originates from the research of Digh. Hisamoto in 1989.
Nanotechnology is technological goal of precisely manipulating atoms and molecules for fabrication of macro scale products, also now referred to as molecular nanotechnology.
Nanotechnology is technological goal of precisely manipulating atoms and molecules for fabrication of macro scale products, also now referred to as molecular nanotechnology. National Nanotechnology Initiative, defined nanotechnology as the manipulation of matter with at least one dimension sized from 1 to 100 nanometers. quantum mechanical effects are important at this quantum-realm scale.
Nanotechnology as defined by size is naturally broad, including fields of science as diverse as surface This definition reflects the fact that science, organic chemistry, molecular biology, semiconductor physics, energy storage, engineering, micro fabrication, and molecular engineering. Scientists currently debate the future implications of nanotechnology.
Nanotechnology may be able to create many new materials and devices with a vaÅŸt nanomedicine, nanoelectronics, biomaterials energy production, and that seeded first discussed in 1959 by range of applications, such se consumer products. The concepts nanotechnology were renowned physicist Richard Feynman. In 1960, Egyptian engineer Mohamed M. Atalla and Korean engineer Dawon Kahng at Bell Labs fabricated the first MOSFET (metal-oxide- semiconductor field-effect transistor) with a gate oxide thickness of 100 nm, along with a gate length of 20 um.
Meanwhile, commercialization of products based. on advancements in nanoscale technologies began emerging.
These products are limited to bulk textiles. In 2006, a team of Korean researchers from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and the National Nano Fab Center developed a 3nm MOSFET, the world's smallest nanoelectronic device. It was based on gate-all-around (GAA) FinFET technology.
