Molecular orbital theory: Modes of overlapping. Concept of o and bonds. Criteria for orbital overlap. LCAO concept. types of molecular orbitals - bonding, antibonding and nonbonding. MOED of homonuclear diatomics H2, N2,07,03  -, F2 (unhybridized diagrams only) and heteronuclear diatomics CO, CNⓇ, NO, NO * and HF. Bond order, stability, and magnetic properties. Evaluation of analytical data: Significant statistics, accuracy, and precision. Errors - Classification of errors  - determinate and indeterminate errors, absolute and relative errors, propagation of errors in mathematical operations - addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication (concerning determinate errors).
