5.  Reptilia: General characters and classification of Reptilia;  Calotes - Respiratory System;  Circulatory system;  Nervous system;  Temporal fosse in reptiles and its evolutionary importance;  Distinguished characters of poisonous and Nonpoisonous snakes;  Rhynchocephalia.  

Unit - III 

6.  Aves: General characters and classification of Aves Columba livia - Digestive system, Respiratory system Circulatory and Nervous system;  Migration in Birds Flight adaptations in Birds.  

7. Mammalia: General characters and classification of Mammalian;  Rabbit - Digestive, Respiratory, Circulatory and Nervous systems;  Dentition in mammals;  Aquatic adaptations in Mammals.

8. Embryology: Gametogenesis;  Fertilization;  Types of eggs;  Types of cleavages;  Development of Frog up to the formation of primary germ layers;  Formation of Foetal membrane in the chick embryo and their functions;  Types and functions of the placenta in mammals;  Regeneration in Turbellaria and Lizards.
